Me vs. Me

If I had the strength to argue with myself,

I’d stare right into the mirror and simply ask why?

Why are you so weak and dumb and sensitive

To every word they spit?

You must be such a baby to be so easy to make you cry.

And what’s worse is that there’s more than just the other me,

I endure the taunts and puns they make

Until they just ignore me.

But it’s alright, I guess I’ll do this on my own.

I’ve gotten used to this environment:

My little mental combat zone.
